La Escuela Freire, Santa Ana, CA
About us
La Escuela Freire Academy for Culture, Leadership, and Civic Engagement was developed by a team of educators who live in or near Santa Ana. All of them share concerns that conventional high schools are not connecting with adolescents in meaningful ways—contributing to a high local dropout rate. La Escuela Freire hopes to graduate 100% of its students regardless of ethnic or socioeconomic status.
